sunny mami
it had been too long since I had seen my beautiful mother, in her home, her sunny garden. She taught me beauty and loving with passion. Yesterday I was lying her her lovey garden surrounded by butterfly flowers, herbs and sweet jasmin. I carry these gifts with me back to city where they are little flames of inspiration throughout my day.

fairies in the sunlight
After the few necessary days needed to unwind, we are finally relaxed as we are about to depart. The weather was perfect, the beach was divine and life hasn't changed in florida since I left it 8 years ago. Sometimes I wonder, what it would be like to go back to something simpler, less complex. Life in the city seems to race as heartbeats in a marathon, with joys and hardships... lying in my mom's hammock with Jan's little head against me, looking at the sky and leaves, I remember what it is really all about. And it doesn't matter if I'm in florida, new york or the moon... but rather the moment of now, to savor the beautiful present with the ones I love.

marilyn minter
Katerina Jebb's work has me thinking of Marilyn Minter, who at least in my opinion, is still a better painter than photographer...
