It's been a little while since I last wrote and I have so much to catch up on. But before I do that, I wanted to post on the very cool Manhattan Inn bar/restaurant in our very own Greenpoint neighborhood. My talented and up with the trends mother-in-law in Geneva told me about this place last fall. It took us a while to get there, but it was worth the wait. Fantastic drinks, I had the warsaw mermaid with green tea vodka, sake and creme de violette and Kai settled in with Kentucky bourbon rye topped with Absinthe. Using local produce from rooftop farms we had vegan polenta and veggies and shared a fabulous pork belly and kimchi panini. Great night, music and scene.
