thinking of snow
We have been back almost two weeks now and the magical whiteness of the mountains is entering my thoughts before I go to bed. Before we all succumbed to our various illnesses that kept us in Geneva an extra week we had a few exceptional days in one of the most majestic places on earth.
Zermatt, remains, despite the crazy accelerating prices, the droves of nouveau rich Russians and the cumbersome lugging of skis, a pilgrimage to perfection. Once up in the heights of the mountains, alone in the snow with the just the sound of the wind and sun in your eyes for as far as you can see... well, it's my spiritual place.

the end and the beginning of a year
This year has been unlike any year I have ever experienced. If one could pack in everything possible in the life a mother, wife, artist, daughter, woman... this was the year where one's self is held on the delicate balance between complete chaos and order. The unknown feels like the only thing that is certain. One can plan and study things to a point, than the reality plays out like a beautiful drama...
To celebrate the scenes from the last few weeks to the first here is a collection of memories....
