In solidarity to Charlie Hedbo and fellow cartoonist and press

Gaga

I'm deeply grateful to my friend Karyn, who on a fall night invited me to see Ohad Naharin's Batsheva Dance Company at the Bam. It's physicality and sensuality moved me in ways that I haven't experienced since my days dancing Graham or the first time I saw Pina Bausch on stage. She told me they teach his dance movement at Mark Morris and before I knew what I was doing I signed up for my first "Gaga" class. It has changed my life, the way I carry myself in space, react to others and given me a place to find myself, once again, through dance. "It's about doing very little, but feeling so much" – Ohad Naharin.

Thank you Todd for introducing me to this inspiring young woman!
